Is this car woth fixing 200 1982

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y206/mrbrickdriver/242T_Damage.jpg

I'm looking at the above car. The primary concearn is that the hood is buckled up and the end of the hood still seems prett close to the edge of the fender. With this, woudn't we have to assume that the fender was pushed back, otherwise a good hood placed on the car would stick out past the fender? Thanks for any information and happy bricking.

Okay, I have a hood, support but I'm not sure about aligning the fender. From comparing it to the door, I did not see a problem, but it may not have shownen up there. If this is a problem, would this be a good reason to walk away?

The hood was pushed back about just as far as the grill is now. The grill is back about one inch, which may mean the radiator support bracket is also back that far. It is not something that you can attach a rope to and pull it back out. Fortunately, there are a few 240s in pick&pull yards where you will be able to find straight pieces.

The fender probably has to be realigned. Probably stuffed into the cowl a little. The hood probably won't straighten and the hinges break when you look at them funny... I happen to have a hood and hinges for this car if you are anywhere near Connecticut.

The rest of it should straighten but it looks like the bumper is bent up- may have to get creative with the brackets there.
