flex disc bolts on back of m46 at drive shaft. 700 1985

gentlemen

I dropped the drive shaft and was going to remove the and replace the flex disc that sits between the back of the transmission and the front half of the drive shaft that has the center carrier bearing on it.

I was able to remove the driveshat bolts (3 hold the drive shaft to the flex disc and 3 hold the transmission to the flex disc...6 bolts total)
but unable to budge the other 3 that were mounted to the back of the tranny.

I used the rust spray about 6 times and heated them with propane torch about 3 times.

They wouldn't budge.....how do i get those stubborn sob's off?

I had to button everything back up w/o replaceing the disc which has cracks in it and is due for replacement.

You'll probably need to take it somewhere with a lift and have them loosened with an impact wrench.

Been a long time since I've been under there, but you've got things setup so that you can put full force on the bolts without the driveshaft/flex disc turning? You're using a good breaker bar? I've taken one of those 1/2" socket driver's without the click/click thing (so it's stronger) and the 2nd half of a jack handle that comes off for storage and slipped it over the end of my driver to get more leverage.

So, take you're big long driver, slip a pipe over it, and then try. I might have even enlisted the help of another person before.

Or, you might get a impact wrench from harbor freight or something. I have no experience with those.
