multiple codes on 960 tranny 900

Hi,
I knew I was getting tranny problems when I bought his car a week ago, but not a mystery like this. The previous owner had changed the PNP switch, and so did I. I am still getting the 313 code, along with 223, 232, 222 and 131. (That is two solenoids plus missing signals from the throttle and speedo. ) I thought I found the problem -- the blue/black wire had broken away from the PNP connector on the car side. (It is the black wire on the switch side of the connector.) I jumped the oonnector using a short lead and solder connections. No go. I attacked the connectors with spray contact cleaner. Still no go. I cleaned up the battery ground terminal. Nothing. There's a buzzing under there that sounds like a electrical component on the fritz. A vibrating solenoid?
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I'm not sure I'm up to an RnR of the valve body. Don't you need special jigs?
BTW I am getting a 311 no speedo signal from the engine OBD as well as the tranny obd, but the engine ecu appears to know where the throttle is, unlike the tcu.

The speedometer head relays the speed info to the transmission computer. Since the ABS light is not on then the signal from differential is getting to the ABS computer. If the speedometer is working intermitant then your circuit board on the speedo may be malfunctioning. Install a good know speedo head and clear the codes and see what occurs then. Pauli

Sounds to me you have a short in the wiring inside the transmission. I would replace the valve body and harness inside the tranny from good known unit. You can also take valve body down and test all the solonoids and when you find the one shorting out, take number off the bottom and head down to your Lexus dealer and get the solonoids from them. About 40 dollars cheaper than Volvo. I have several I can part with. Pauli
