Hard start-up 200 1987

I have a 1987 Volvo 240 sedan that was parked up for a year and a half. The car worked fine prior it was parked up. Now it hard to start up. It cranks and does not start up or will start and shut off immediately or idle very rough and I have hold down the gas pedal(something I did not have to do before). I have cleaned the throttle body and flame trap. After it is fully warm (at half way point in the temp guage), it idles fine.

If the gas tank was not full when parked, you may have a lot of crud next to the fuel pick up hose, or the "sock" is covered with it. Check the fuel pick up area and the fuel filter. More gasoline is required for a cold start to work correctly than a warm engine.
Your injectors may also be sticky from varnish, I suggest geting some injector cleaner. Then drive it like you hate it!
