Windshield cleaner/spray 200

One day my windshield wiper fluid was cleaning and spraying away and the next the pump stopped working and no matter how i push the button, nothing comes out. it's not the fuse, and connections to the motors seem to be intact (although i cannot get the motors out to inspect them). any likely suspects for the motor failure and tips on trouble shooting?

thanks much.

The motor with bracket should pull straight up to come out.

I have always replaced non working washer pumps but recently on here read about someone successfully opening the pump cases up, cleaning grit out, and getting them back in service. Sounds good to me considering how rarely I get working pumps from parts cars.

You can get a new washer pump for $ 40 through IPD. I've seen them cheaper on ebay. Just beware sometimes they call the wiper motor a washer pump.

Pearl if you have a wagon, it has two pumps side by side, one for the front, one for the rear, if the rear one works you might want to swap them.

Neither one works in my 245. I will order a new one for the front, then I will fiddle with the bad pump and see if I can get it going for the rear.
