No seatbelt warning light 700 1990

Hi,

My front passenger side sensor appears not to be working, but drivers side working normally. There is no flashing seat belt warning if my front passenger hasn;t buckled up - how does one fix this? Is it supposed to work for rear passengers too? My guess is no because I put heavy breifcases in the back and it doesn;t trigger the light.

thanks a bunch

No warning light sensor for the back seat.

If it has always been like this since you've had the car, the connector under the seat was probably unplugged by the previous owner. (who liked to put his heavy briefcase on the front seat) If it just started doing it it will be harder to track down.
