Hi,

I'm almost completely done installing my OEM Volvo 900 Fog light kit on my '94 940T but I've run into a snag. The lamps are installed and ready to wire in but there doesn't seem to be a plug on the wiring harness at the front of the car that matches up with the adaptor plug on the fog light wiring harness.

According to the (rather cryptic) instructions that came with the kit there's supposed to be a plug on the wiring harness on the inside of driver's side fender right up near the headlamp and the battery. I found a plug there that looks like the one shown in the drawings in the kit instructions but it doesn't match up at all with the adaptor plug on the harness that came with the fog lamp kit. There doesn't seem to be any other unused plugs on that wiring harness so I'm thinking that must be the one they want me to tie into but maybe I'm wrong...

Has anyone installed one of these fog light kits on their 900 series ? Did you run into that same problem with mismatched plugs ? If not, where does the foglight harness tie into the main lighting wiring harness on the car ?

If someone out there has OEM fog lights on their 940/960 I would sure appreciate it if they could tell where their fog light harness plugs into the main lighting harness and what the connector looks like.

Ok, I found the connector I needed to make my fog lights work. It was bundled up with the connector going into the driver's side headlamp. Didn't see it wrapped up in the bundle of wires there. What made it more confusing was that the diagram in the instructions showed that other connector which comes off the wiring harness near that light as well. I have no idea what that connector is for.

At any rate the fog light system is installed and working great. Now I just need some fog or snow to try it out in.
