Vacuum elbow alternatives??? 900

I need to replace the vacuum line elbows on my 98 V90...the ones that run from the SAS valve to the AMM(thin purple vacuum line) etc... IPD gets $25 for these so I cannot imagine what the dealer wants for them. Any suggestions for alternate DIY solutions that have worked for others?? Thanks!

I use standard rubber type vacuum hose from the auto parts store to replace the fancy color coded Volvo stuff. Most auto parts stores also have little rubber elbows for sale for those places where you need the tight 90 degree turn, though most of the time the elbow really isn't needed.

I got about 6 or 8 OEM from SwedEng a few years ago and they were not that much. I should have bought some straight too. Worth a try; go to an auto parts store with the elbow and see if they can match it. If you can convert to a straight hose, get a sample of smaller fuel line hoses and check the fit. BTY, I always use fuel line with spring clamps or tie wraps for the rubber vac hoses.

OK, good suggestions Javalion. $1.29 for a foot of windshield washer/vacuum line and a couple of small plastic cable ties pulled snug with needle nose pliers. Reset the code and it cleared completely. Thanks!
