Hi,

I posted a similar question not long ago. my 94' 940t switch only gives me the parking lights. No headlights or fog lights. When I go to full on, even the parking lights go out. I bought a new switch from the warehouse on this sight, and still no headlights.
Is there maybe a relay associated with this problem? Anyone please help!!!

I saw your post earlier but with the combination of issues you have I did not want to risk giving a wrong answer that would cost you more money. So I’ll put it this way, if it was out of my pocket I would replace the headlight relay after taking it out and cracking it open. Hopefully, you will find some indication of a toasted circuit inside. Looking at the color photo it is on the row closest to the fuses and the second one from the left and may be marked with a big letter K. Head lights, high beams, fog lights, license plate lights and parking light circuits all go through this relay. When you pull it out also look at the socket to make sure there is no sign of burning due to a short.

Tom, welcoming a new addition to the family. Its, well, a 944 with tilt steering.

IF this is intermittent, try turning your ignition key back from the Start position (III) towards the Run (II) position- they sometimes begin to hang up and not return fully on their own.

It keeps the engine control essentials running but no accessory circuits will work.

IF it's ONLY the headlights, you may need a system relay, or have a blown fuse, or also could be a failure in the bulb-out relay. That's the big red cylindrical can in the fusebox.
