Hi Andy,
I'm conservative enough to wear one, that's for sure. I don't think Mary K would drive it though. When I first met her it was also my first time ever in a Volvo (her 944) I kidded her about the complimentary 'Save the Whales' bumper sticker that must be in the glove box of every Volvo when it leaves the factory. She didn't think it was funny for some reason. Go figure!

"Whales" = 1959 Oldsmobiles, right? or are those "Mastodons"?
I probably would not be unwilling to use such a sticker but I would
make "Terrorist" plural. In spite of making Ds in English at
Stanford, I can read, write, spell and speak gramatically.
(I got Ds because I didn't think that literary criticism was worth
writing. I got As and Bs in scientific writing....)
(Note: Just because I can use correct grammar, spelling, etc doesn't mean
that I always do. In the culture in which I live, I sometimes have enough
arns in the far that being too p'tic'lar is counterproductive.)

The longer I looked at it the less certain I was about the plural. Certainly not enough to stop the car and ask.
It does make a statement though...

Isn't it wonderful that we live in a country where we are free to express ourselves openly without worrying about 'offended' folks sawing our heads off?
My interest in the bumper sticker was that it was on a Volvo.

A few months ago, a contract SW engineer we had working for us made an "odd" comment: "Religious Extremism is okay in moderation". Sounds like a joke, but it has a deeper meaning. Extremism can corrupt any belief, heck it could drive Bricksters to the point where they target Toyotas and Hondas for destruction!NOT!
Why not? well, Volvo hasn't had a few thousand years to poison the minds of young children... they have been more into saving Children's lives rather than turning them into walking bombs!
