wheel bearings 200

I need to replace my front wheel bearings on the '84 240. I see that FCP has the SKF kits. I bought the SKF brand at NAPA for the 760 Turbo and they were marked "made in Mexico" on the box. Are all of the SKF bearings of the same quality? I thought about going to the dealer to buy them.

Thanks in advance.
Dave

    SKF has an incredible quality system that virtually defines the QS-9000 and ISO-900x standards. When it comes to quality, if it says SKF, it is good. Hate to say that US Companies have "educated" other Countries on how to beat us to death, but that is what we have done... heck, we even have a huge trade deficit with Vietnam!

    None the less, SKF makes great parts.

    I bought some "OEM" upper strut mounts from FCP that were marked "SKF" and "Made in France" on the box and the bearing was stamped "GMB" KOREA.

    They appear to be the same high quality of other SKF bearings that I have bought in the past 25 or so many years.

    Welcome to the global economy...

    If it needs to be maintained, repaired or replaced on a 1990 240, I've probably done it. '90 240DL, 245K looking forward to 300K badge. >>You haven't really worked on a car until you draw blood<< :-}
