No, I'm not going to tell you to go to the dealer, but first, I'm going to tell you why. When I needed some dash lamps for a '93 240, I went to a local auto parts house for them. They didn't stock them, but could get them if I bought a carton of 12 at $1.50 a pop. I didn't want to spend $18 just to get a couple of miniature lamps, so I told my daughter to pick up 4 of them at the nearest Volvo dealer while on her way to spend my money. Since the parts guy was always good to me, I didn't want to bother him with a call for such a minor item. After all, even at list, how much could four dash lamps cost list? I'll tell you how much: 36 friggin dollars American!!!
The problem with miniature automotive lamps is that there are so many different designations for the same item. Generically, the dash lamps are 12V, 3W, B10d, halogens. The "B10d" is the style of base. The "W269" has nothing to do with the identification of the lamp; must be a production code.
Don't waste your time at Pep Boys or other such places. Go to an established Old School auto parts house in your town. Show the lamp to the counter guy and if he doesn't ask, "How many ya want?", he'll ask, "Whazit for?" while reaching for his grimy Wagner catalog.
