I'm looking for a repair manual for an Xmas gift for my father. I'm not sure about the year of his 960.

I haven't been able to find any book specifically about the 960. Is there any paper book that has really solid coverage?

I have been looking at "Volvo factory repair DVDs" on ebay. Supposedly these contain the real deal from Volvo, for most of their cars. Has anybody tried these, and are they any good?

It seems the DVD is fairly nice, though I guess a bit overpriced (at $24) if I can get all of it at that link.

I got this very nice Haynes manual for a Mercury. Too bad there isn't anything like that for the 960.
