I listed a shirt on ebay that has an image of the Volvo PV 444/544 embroidered over the pocket. If, after looking at the stitching you have an interest let me know. I don't do embroidery but I did have the item digitized and have the pattern on a floppy disc. I'd like to recoup some of the digitizing cost so I'll sell you a copy for ten bucks plus a couple dollars postage. If this blatant ad is not appropriate for the brickboard I'll try to get it removed. I read this board once, sometimes twice a day. Have a 1962 PV 544 that's near complete and a prize winner at the recent Euro Auto Festival held on the grounds of the BMW plant in Spartanburg, SC. Bob

    Thanks for the link. I saved it and will look for it next year. By the way, I did see your shirt on ebay and it looks good. It's also nice to know there is at least one 544 in my area as I haven't seen one in western NC.

    I would be interested in the file ,but I am not to conversant in sewing machines. Does the average sewing machine have the capability of reading files from a disk. Is there more than one file format etc. would you have to have a certain brand of machine to use your file.

    How did I miss that? You mentioned a recent European car show at the BMW plant in SC. I live a hour away in Columbus, NC and heard nothing about it. Is this a regular thing. I would have loved to see some 544's and other vintage Volvos.

    Personally I think it's OK to list something like your shirt. Probably get more business if you have them made up as you receive orders rather than selling the image, although that's not a big deal.

    I'm sure nearly everyone here appreciates finding new, quality Volvo PV stuff. A lot of what's out there isn't very good. I had a great ball cap made up for $20; it is black with red flames (the flames are outlined in yellow) with a big red VOLVO across the front. A nice shirt would go well with it, but I don't want one of those T-shirts sold on eBay.

    With your pattern I could have a Polo or golf shirt made up.

    People would still ask me if that's my Volvo at shows, though...even when I'm sitting IN the car they still ask!

    I'll go take a look at the ad. Sounds great!

      I am not in the shirt or embroidery business and don't want to be. I have the shirt and data on floppy for the embroidery. Doubt if I'll recoup the $$$ I have in the shirt nor the total for digitizing the image. But, I'll be happy to get a little bit back to offset my costs. And, I think it's a very well done PV image and I belive I'm not the only one that would like to have a shirt, jacket or cap to show off a car with such beautiful lines. By the way, this image will fit on a cap. It's 1 1/2" x 4" and contains 8,650 stitches. Car color can be changed.

        Bob, can you list the eBay item number? I tried to find it but either I'm getting blind or you have restricted it to only USA buyers. I do not find it a problem in promoting a unique product or service on this forum. Thanks.
