I have a chance to get a good leather interior from a 1987 740 GL to fit in my 1986 740T with cloth seats. Does anyone know if the wiring harness is already present in the cloth cars for the power leather seats?

Thanks for any help.

    I purchased on eBay an electric 740 seat for my 89 745 turbo. I didn't check but assumed that the 89 would have the correct wiring for the seat. I could not find any connections for the seat once I had removed the original seat and hence had to reinstall it. It does make sense that the same wiring harness would be used whether or not the car had electric seats but it aint necessarily so. I hope I can use the heating psds out of the electric seat when I recover the seats in my 1973 1800 ES.
