240 wagon.

I am looking into buying a 240 wagon, and was wondering if there was a year that was better than the rest or are they all pretty much the same? Thanks
Mike

Mike,
Galvanized panels were 86 on.
1 Early turbo's are hot.
2 86-87 are peppy.
3 Later had ABS.
There are 3 basic schools of thought on this.
The lemons have lemoned out,by this time, and
as Klaus said it is the owner who kept the car
well maintained that makes the difference.

I like the 1988. The 1989 had new electronics which were a bear. The 1992 is also very good. It all depends on the seller, can you trust him/her? What kind of service records?
