Hot restart problem 700 1986

Just recently my 86' 740t won't start when hot,it has spark and I removed the injector rail and had someone crank the engine and all injectors have a uniform spray pattern,if I unplug the mass airflow sensor it seems to start up ok,after I plug the sensor back in it does not want to start again.Is there a true test to see if I the mass airflow is bad?

I don't think you are going to get a better test than that. There may be voltage specs in the 700/900 FAQ under "select Link" at the top right of this page, but if it runs only with the AMM unplugged, then I think you need a new one.
