COOLANT FLUSH 900 1993

Flush coolant system today, all went as planned. Replaced hoses, coolant, clamps, thermostat. Except expansion tank had buildup of green calsium,I put the water hose in tank and removed 99% of the green stuff. Was is this green stuff?

You got it right, it's just calcium or lime build-up. if you were running a good mix of radiator fluid, it could be the green dye that colored the buildup. Nothing to worry about.
