heated seat switches 700 1991

Happy holidays to all

as my seat stopped heating I popped out the switch to see what was up
the solder on one lead was gone
while I am in there I thought whay not fix the light in the switch, indicating it is on
well it is tiny and no markings that I can see
I went to Radioshack but the people there well......
I got a 25 ma bulb, but I have my doubts
can anyone tell me what might the proper bulb be for this switch?
also as far as ratings when they are small
is a 60 ma or a 25 ma bulb brighter?

Thanks

Liam

The 60 mA is the brighter bulb. 60 mA (milliampere) is .06 amps. Amps times volts equals watts so that's a .72 watt bulb (at 12 volts). The 25 mA bulb is .3 watts. To compare, a tail light is 5 watts and a brake light is 23 or 30 watts (I forget which).

Just for reference. The rocker switches on the dash have 1.2W bulbs (blue). I've never had a light go on the heater, but I know Autozone carries the 1.2W bulbs in clear if it uses the same type bulb.
