I tried on the other forum but no one helped. Does anyone know a good source for s40 catalytic converter and pipe? I am trying to help a friend save a few hundred $$$$. Any tips on getting it done easier?

I just checked my usual sources and they don't carry cats and pipes (or much of anything else) for the S40 yet.

Have you tried junk yards? There are on-line junkyards that will search for junk parts. Also, the Volvo/SAAB Recyclers junk yard here in Sacramento is very good and will ship parts.
