Their is a famous photo of a PV544 airborne over a crest, that was used in Volvo ads way back when. It had won numerous rally races. Can anyone direct me to a link that has this photo? I have scoured the internet and can't find it. TIA

Is that where they typically put the rally lights? They look a little low. I bought some vintage Eversure Rally lights on ebay recently, and was thinking of mounting them to the horns such that the lights are not blocked by the overrider bar at all.

The lights are cool, but not sure I can actually use them for regular driving (at night) as they're very bright spot lights. I think I would blind oncoming traffic.

The car in the photo is actually a PV444, but the photo was later retouched to make it look like a 544.

I did just see this somewhere and if I can find the link, then I'll send it to you. I do have some printed reference material that I know has that famous image and if you can't find it on the web, then I can scan it for you. BTW, I just live down the 401 near Cornwall and was born and brought up in Hamilton. My first Volvos was a used '64 544 Sport that I rallied at my college and afterwards when I started working in Chalk River. What was your rally background and what types of cars did you rally in?
