FS: 22mm front sway bar 140-160

Made by iPD. $150 + shipping. Bar + frame to bar bushings & brackets. No endlink bits. Removed from a '71 144S, according to the iPD website, some drilling may be required.

The drilling's just for the rear bar. Speaking of bars, wanna trade for a 25mm front?

IPD only shows a 25mm front bar for the 140 series. Did they offer a 22mm bar at one time as well?

Whatcha got Kyle? I need to start thinking about getting this '72 144 mobile for when the boys turn 16...

Said bar is indeed a 22mm bar, not a 25mm bar. I don't know how the 140 compares to the 700/900s, but there are certainly times when I think that 25/25 is a bit too stiff for my 760 (generally over uneven road surfaces).

Kyle, I'd consider a trade, but I don't own a 140, and my 760's already got 25/25 bars.

They did indeed offer a 22mm front bar at one point. One of my friends, Andrew(he's on here sometimes), has IPD's old race springs(500lb front, 125lb rears) and their 22mm front sway.

As for stuff I'm getting rid of, I was somewhat kidding about trading for a 22mm sway, straight accross anyway, but someday I'd rather have a smaller bar and more spring. Probably not in this 142 though, as it's on it's deathbed. I do have the rear bar for sale though... :) I have some 600 and 650lb front springs, and 225lb rear springs from Stock Car Products, but haven't installed them as I don't have any stiff shocks to keep them in check. I won't know if they lower the car or keep it the same height, or what until I finally get around to installing them on something. Hopefully a 145 that I can megasquirt... My friend has one that I'd take from him, but I don't have any room for a car right now until the 142 or 244's gone.
