Replacing seat belt catch 700 1990

Just got a replacement front passenger seat belt catch for my folks' 1990 740 sedan. Old one busted up inside and wouldn't latch. This car has mechanical (I think) pretensioners. How do I replace the catch on this beast? I believe there is a screw of sorts you're supposed to turn to isolate the pretensioner. Is that all I have to do? Any one BTDT? Thanks for any help.
Brad

Thanks for the responses. I will do the job this weekend. The catch I got doesn't have the actual plug for the light but just two wires with bare terminals on the end. Hopefully I can use the existing plug.

No need to cut wiring when removing the old latch. Follow the wiring under the seat and into the carpet. There's a connector under carpet. Passenger side the wiring is for the illumination of the belt catch when main lighting switch is on. Driver's side has two harnesses - the other is to stop the warning buzzer when the belt is latched.

The catch is bolted to the side of the seat frame and a wire is threaded through the seat frame to a harness in the floor.I cut the wire, removed the bolt with a 16mm wrench with the seat in the car.Good luck,Bill
