Bearing noise? 2.3 L turbo 91' 700

In the lower end of engine I hear what sounds like a worn bearing. This is not noticeable until engine warms up. Seems to have plenty of power and this noise is less detectable at higher rpms. Should I just ignore this, or do I need to prepare for a complete teardown? Thanks in advance.

Is it an accessory? Usually, accessory bearings seem to get quieter (probably get drowned out actually).

From my limited experience w/ bad bearings it seems that the noise increase with engine rpm. You can sometimes isolate bad connecting rod bearings by carefully disconnecting the spark plugs one at a time while idleing. If loss of one particular plug causes the noise to go away then that con rod bearing is probably bad. My '88 has had a "rod bearing" like noise for the past 50K miles!! Could be a little excess crank end play but it doesn't seem to be geting that much worse with time. Check if your crank pulley isn't coming apart.
