I was working today...and a lady comes in with a upset look on her face and was looking for the owner of the "antique car"...evidently she was getting out of her car and didnt set the parking break and the car rolled down and hit the rear right fender. ( Ouch...why me). Luckily it was just the fender and tailight and not the direct rear of the car. second im lucky she came in to find me to give her insurance info...instead of ditching. It could have been a lot worse....so now i am needing a rear right fender and tailight houseing. anyone have one? i have seen them occasionally on ebay...but who knows when the next one will show up..... could have been worse ...so hopefully i can turn a "profit" on it through the check.

its not my driving im afaid of...."its theirs".

    I'm doing a 444 with a 544 parts car. I have the RR fender and taillight from the 544 which I do not plan to use. They are not great, but I think would be usable if you don't find something better. If interested contact me by Email and I will send pictures.

    There is a friend in San Diego who carries the parts you need. Send me an email of line and i will give you his address. His prices are far more reasonable than Mike ($80 for a tail light) ouch!!

    Ouch, sorry to hear that.
    Right you are, could be a lot worse.
    The neighbors are always hitting my cars and not telling me. Huh, that door opened yesterday... That Acura wasn't on top of my Citroen when I parked it...

    Sure you can't pop it out, smooth it straight(er)? I was surprised how much I could straighten with a little effort.

      Ouch, sorry to hear that Abe!!! Good to hear that there's a place that sell's them though, very good indeed... Let us know how the insurance plays out.

      LOL! Sad, but I heard exactly that from a guy I was chatting with near where I stayed when I was down in San Fran earlier this month... He said they all do it, no big deal... Man, if someone hit my 244 while I was down there, I'd try to kill them!!! Luckily it wasn't tooooooo bad where I was parking it. Seriously though, eek!

        Heh. If you're patient, justice will come.
        I noticed the other day that Acura that parked on my Citroen NAILED the front of their car on something. Twisted & totalled.
        Sometimes; dumb, self-absorbed & inconsiderate people...
        Maybe now I'll hit them with the bill for straightening my hood!
