1990 760 Volvonut Wagon worth it? 700

A Volvo fanatic in LA is selling his beloved 760 wagon that has had everything redone. Radiator, new clutch and 4 spd trans, heater core, headliner, Koni adj shocks, IPD sway bar, 3" s/s exhaust, autometer turbo gauge, very nice upholstery, brand new paint job, fancy nice alloys, tinted glass, power sunroof works smoothly, power locks fine, recent refurbed engine and head 20K ago, smogged, air baffle diaphragm, newer harness, newer sensors and O2 sensor. Basically everythinmg has been gone over by this fanatic and saince he has 3 more cars and newer projects he is willing to sell this fine piece for $4000. Do you think I should go for it? What price would entice a veteran red block fan into going for this- one of the nicest refurbished 760 wagons that is around? How much would you pay???

"air baffle diaphragm, newer harness, newer sensors" ????
I don't understand these.
Have the locks, particularly the ignition and driver's door, been changed? They're a heap 'o trouble when they wear out.
Price sounds good, otherwise.

P.S.
I own a '90 765; damn fine car.

The price seems kind of high, but here's one for comparison. A couple weeks ago, in the Washington Post (DC) classifieds, there was advertised an 89 740 GL with 38K original miles. They were asking $5900. This car is probably 100% original, which means it will need a huge amount of deferred maintenance caught up on before it can live up to its potential. The 90 you are looking at is up to date with all that, and then some, AND it is a much higher spec car. Suddenly four grand is starting to sound a lot more reasonable...... At this point things like how well you like the color, and the color of the interior, come into play. If it's your favorite combination, it starts to sound like a pretty good deal. If it is not, but still something you are OK with, it's still a good deal. If the car is dark gray metallic with tan interior, knock a thousand bucks off the price.
