Well, the saga continues...........

I replaced the CTS with a new one, it cleared the 1-2-3 code but, the car will not start (once again)....

So, I went diving into the bell housing for a look at the Crank Position Sensor. I found the sheathing on the cbble going into the bell housing was frayed - so I ordered one from FCP... I noticed the tach was in fact bouncing when the car would not start, then it was NOT bouncing, then it was and it still wouldn't start (after I replaced the Coolant Temp Sensor)..

At least the 244 is up and running like it is supposed to..

Things are looking up ! (I think)

    Wait a minute... all this time you hadn't replaced the crank sensor?

    I thought that was where we started with all this. It's the #1 recommendation for these cars. Well maybe #2, right after the fuel pump relay, but both things account for 90% of the no-starts with Volvos.

    Everything else accounts for the remaining 10%.

    I'ma gonna come up there and take away the Dart.

    Try squirtin some oil down them cylinders. All that extra fuel probably washed it away.

      Excellent idea !

      I think I am going add a touch of C4 just to make sure it fires when it is supposed to.
      This thing is strating to piss me off !

      I received the CPS Today - just as soon as the rain stops I might actually get to install and then try to start the POS.
