Any other Bilstein's fit the rear? 120-130

A tangent on a recent thread has me wondering if there might be Bilstein's that might fit the rear that are valved for a lighter car.

Some say this is an issue with what Bilstein offers, enough that John Parker has them custom valved.

I was going to use Spax adjustables for the rear but apparently the source has flaked out. No money was exchanged so nothing lost but time.

This really may be a non-issue as its not been something there have been a lot of complaints about but if Parker has gone to the trouble I'm guessing that there must be an improvement to be had.

I may just go with Koni adjustable or the Bil's, although I haven't given up on tracking down the Spax. But I can't justify spending more than $300 on a pair of shock absorbers for Parker's revalved. I'm sure they are good, but out of my budget when the cost of the fronts get added in.

Just a thought.

Thanks,

Mario!

I have Koni's on my 66 130. I set the rears to the medium setting, the fronts to firm, and they handle just "jim dandy". I recall about 300 "ducats" for all four.

I have about 35K on mine and no complaints at all.

Got em though IPD.

Mike
