Has anyone used a rotary engine in a volvo 122s 120-130

Thinking of an upgrade and has anyone used the 12a or the 13b turbo in a 122s. Small engine with alot of power.

Not yet. But I've got an Atkins street ported 13B that needs a job. I've thought about putting it into an Amazon. I wonder too about the transmission and rear end. I've got a LSD/disk brake rear and transmission out of an '83 RX7 that are umemployed as well.

The other thing I've thought about is the master cylinder. It is 13/16 bore with the vertical mounting ears. By guesstimation I'd say pedal effort would increase maybe 15%. Not that much for me now but what if I actually live long enough to be old, will I still think that 15% is not much?

i think it would a great swap. Its a very small engine with alot of power and made for light cars. Now add a nice turbo setup with a five speed and you got a real nice amazon. Right now for 2500 you get a twin turbo 13b with tranny on ebay.
