OK, more 544 Goodies for my Wish List.... 444-544

I just looked at that accessories brochure for sale on eBay. Now I have some things I just gotta get!

Dash Clock: Fits into the dash just to the left of the ash tray. I suspect that I could just install it in place of the ash tray.

Speed Pilot: Cruise Control in 1959?? Awesome! That would take care of a lot of the speedometer problems!

Hood Embellisher: Another chrome strip designed to run down the top center of the hood. Cool!

Of course, if you have any of these items you aren't going to offer them up, but I can hope!

Steve

Steve - After seeing some of your handiwork, I can't believe that you couldn't make a hood embellisher out of one of the longer pieces of trim!

You ought to see the old aftermarket third tail light sold by IPD that I just bought on ebay.

It has an a lens that is adjustable for angle so that it can be vertical when attached to a slanted rear window. The ends of the lens protrude as pivots and light up so you can tell if the brake lights are working.

The Halda Speedpilot isn't cruise control, its a rally instrument. Its effectively two clocks, one keeps real time, the other is driven by the speedo. That allows you to keep to an average time on a rally by seeing whether you're ahead or behind time.

You control the throttle though.

I've got one, but working ones fetch serious money. King Cog AKA as Martin Jubb is your man for them. See http://www.geocities.com/haldaman.geo/
