Yes, Gawd, I hope so.
If it takes me longer than a year to put the car together and I miss next year's meet, I shouldn't deserve to have a Volvo. :)
My wife has given me the "okay" to have one day a week dedicated to working on reassembling the car. Hopefully that's enough time. :)

I'll be posting some more pictures tonight since more parts came in today.
I am going to pick up the car shell tomorrow afternoon. :)

Oh yeah, I meant to say... I've been getting your Brickboard alert for your post [Steve] every ten minutes since 7:56 PM. I guess I'll need to contact the Brickboard if it continues.

Very impressive! Congratulation! Envy goads me to do that for my PV544, but then, when people give me the thumbs-up, I think; "As long Old Quasimodo gets that kind of admiration, he must look better than you give him credit for, and if he looked any better, you'd be afraid to take him for a drive." So, the project gets postponed for another year. Oh, well.... (Sigh)

Hello everyone. I received some restored/painted Volvo parts today from the body shop; the engine lid, trunk lid and two rear fenders.

Unfortunately the entire car shell and remainder of parts (doors, front fenders, etc.) couldn’t be completed or returned today. :( The body shop said they should be ready tomorrow afternoon as long as it is hot enough outside for the paint to dry properly. Seeing that it was almost 100 deg. today, I don’t think we’ll have a problem – I think it’s supposed to be in the upper 80’s tomorrow – but I’ll keep my fingers crossed just in case. The car has been at the shop almost a year and a half – I guess a few more days aren’t too big a deal.

- how's the status on your speedo-cluster? (I might have a spare you could use to fix things with? - ie. the speed indicator)..
- other things like that besides the wanted-list on your site (is it up to date?)

Yes, I would be very interested in your spare speedo cluster.
Also, as for my parts-wanted list, it is fairly up-to-date, except for maybe a few miscellaneous parts such as a dome light, chrome bumpers, etc.
