Converting Transmission S90-V90 1998

I currently have an S90, which I think is an excellent car. However, I am a huge driving enthusiast and I've always been driving manual cars, and that is my true love. I feel a sense of passion whenever driving a stickshift and it is much more enjoyable for me overall. I was wondering if anyone can help me take out my Automatic Transmission AW and replace it with an either M47 or M90, maybe even an M46 manual transmission. I found a link on this site about someone doing this same conversion from an AW71 to an M46 on his 83 turbo.

I wanted to know if anyone can help me out and how feasile this would actually be on an S90. Thanks

You have to use a M90 5 speed. This transmission was never offered in the North American market. There have been a few (very few) people over a Turbo Bricks that have imported the transmission and needed hardware to convert their cars to manuals. In fact one of the Euro members just sold a setup he had last week. Believe me it was a real bargain at the shipped price of $1100.

These cars came with a manual trans in Europe. Mostly behind the B6254 engine. There should be some experience on the European boards as well.

Some of us here in the states are very envious. We didn't have a choice.

So, would it be an easy and inexpensive operation though if I could find a European M90, because that would be wonderful. Nice patrik, how is it? Thank you all for your responses, does anyone know the operation and approximate cost however?
