Use Nissen radiators from a reputible source 200

I used a CSF radiator from radiatorexpress.com and it failed after 2.25 years. Neither radiatorExpres nor CSF will acknowledge my emails. As an FYI go with Nissens from fcpgroton.com or eeuroparts.com for your radiator needs.

My 92 had a CSF when I bought it, obviously not the OEM one. I do not know how old it was, since I bought the car used. Within 6 months it was leaking. I ended up buying a Nissens off of Ebay for 109.00.

Try calling them. They have replaced radiators twice for me.

I'm guessing but no body is going to warranty even a new radiator over a year. Dan

I think the same. However I also think the new radiator should have lasted longer than 2.25 years.

I've been using junkyard oem radiators when I need one. I prefer the ones with nylon connector necks or black plastic with metal inner liner; my guess is that they are more recent replacements than the all plastic ones.

Absolutely they should last longer but if something is warranted for one year it is designed and made to last 366 days. If I see a recently replaced Blackstone I will put it on the shelf for a rainy day also. Dan
