Dent in gas tank? Cause for concern? 200

Just removed the exhaust system and found a dent - 3x3" across, no more than 1/2" inward - in the gas tank. The tank was new 4 years ago...... no sign of a leak, no smell of gas. The dent was dusted over - must have happened some time ago although I don't remember bottoming out.

Is there any reason to be concerned?

Should be a non-issue. Just to verify this, the next time you fill up the tank, climb underneath it and check the seam lip all the way around the tank for leaks.
