Motor Mount first, then Tranny Mount? Or the Reverse? 200

A while back I remember some discussion about the recommended order for changing motor mounts and the tranny mount--something about how it's easier to do it in a certain order. Couldn't find it in the archives.

Anybody got any advice on that?

The left one is easier to do than the right one. The right one is easier to do with the oil filter removed. The transmission mount is easier to do with fresh engine mounts. Dan

Personally, I do the engine mounts first followed by the trans mount. The reason is that the trans mount is usually the toughest of the bunch and should keep the drivetrain aligned while replacing grenaded engine mounts.
