I'm trying to locate a proper auxiliary cooling fan for my '72 164E. My tech says Volvo made a kit for the 240s, and Mike Dudek's told me that it should be possible to find a siliar one to fir the 164. Any recommendations? --Jonathan

Do you mean something to replace the clutch-fan with?
There was an asymmetrical 5 bladed flex fan for a while, which I like a lot. Sourcing the proper spacers to get it to work (optimally) on the 164 might be a tough find.

Otherwise, there is a replacement 240 clutch fan that I hear works, but it looks a little odd in the engine bay, and might not fit in the fan shroud.
