I want to double check so that I don't break something.

It looks like the pulley on the PS pump pulls straight off with a puller. Is this the case or are there threads?

If it is like my 92 960, the pulley does pull off. I bought a puller in a plastic case a couple of years ago at Harbor Freight tools. It was 15-20.00 and will pull as well as replace the pulley. There is a hole in the front where the pulley goes and that threaded hole, along with the tool from harbor Freight, is used to put the pulley on the shaft. The flange on the front of the pulley along with the tool is used to pull the pulley.

That's what I thought. The threads in the shaft were a clue. Thanks for the confirmation!
