I own a '88 240DL. My headlights are yellowing, and my turn signals are cracked. I was looking to replacing these lenses, and ran across e-code headlights. the problem is, i live in California, so will these be street-legal? And as for installation would it require modifications to my brackets? I'm not to excited about the euro turn signals because of the two colors, but i really like the look of the headlights. Is there anything i can do to get around that?

I'm also curious as to any suggestions about simple performance upgrades for my car. I believe i am running the B230 motor. I am a college student, so i don't really have many funds, so i'm looking for cheap fixes. Any suggestions? I am already looking into a thicker roll bar.
