i have been experiencing hesitation at high speeds and faulty idle- on a non turbo B230F DOHC 16 valve-

I cleaned the AMM (w/CRC) and checked the plugs- they look great- all white- I know the IAC is good and there are no air leaks, as far as I can tell- I'm suspicious of the fuel filters- is it difficult to change them out- what about the sock filter in the tank?

If there's nothing obvious and the gas filter's over 30K miles old I'd say give it a try. Don't overlook the air filter and also maybe a stuck air filter heated air thermostat.
