Hi all

Does anyone know whether or not the window winder mechanisms that drive the chain to raise and lower the windows are available new?

I've got an NOS one in a Volvo package at home. I would have to check what exact part number that one is and if they were different for a two door vs. four door vs. rear of a four door... Or do you just take out links to make them work in what ever car? I can check tonight. Drop me a note off list as to which one you need....

Hello Chris,

Usually, there should be a "V" or "H" stamped on the regulator to indicate which side as they are supposed to be handed.

Although the regulators mount the same, if you use the wrong one, someone can push the window down from the outside.

Hello,

"V" is the Swedish abreviation for left and "H" stands for right.

They are not. - or, that is, they are if you find them NOS on eBay/markets etc. Not from Volvo.
