spark plug wires? 700

Do wires from a 1988 760 turbo go on a 1986 760 turbo?
Bosch has same part numbers for the wire set but has different part numbers for what they call
"OE S.P. Wire Set Optional set with OE type connectors."
Can anyone throw some light on that matter please?

Do NOT use bosch plug wires; use Bougicord.
The '86 and '88 are the same except the coil wire.

Ok thanks,
I thought Bosch was also good, but I read the FAQ recommends mostly Bougicord.
There was a bid for a complete set of wires for 8 bucks on ebay

Lot of Bosch stuff ain't what it used to be, or made where it used to be.
If they are cheap go for it, but don't expect a long service life, at all.
If you have the time and cash, get the bogicord or something along those lines.
