Air box for Strombergs 200

I want to retrofit an air cleaner box with temperature device to a non-Volvo (sorry!). I replaced the round filters on my 1968 242 with the an air cleaner box and temperature flap many years ago and it really civilized engine performance. I want to repeat the retrofit on a Lotus Europa and I'm short on some details. 1) what is the carbs center-to-center dimension on the B18? 2) Where can I find/buy an air box, temperature flapper device, 3) hoses? If I found a perfect Amazon I would want to do the same thing. If I found a perfect PV544 I'd want to do the same thing. If I found a perfect...

¿¿?? They didn't start making the 242 until 1975 so I kinda doubt you had
    a 1968 242.

The distance between carbs on the B18, the B20 and the B30 with dual carbs
    is 8 3/8".

Most salvage yards that have oldtimers should be able to come up with the box.
They are slightly different between Zenith-Stromberg carbs and SUs but they can
    be adapted.
