If you have a test light you should be able to determine if the problem is in the 12v feed to the printed circuit board or in the board itself.

A test light connected to a good ground should respond to probing the wires (or the disconnected plug) when applying the brakes or turning on the clearance lights.

If the test lamp does not light then you know you have to establish the connection upstream. I assume you have cleaned all of the fuses in the fuse block?

The connection between the plug and the printed circuit board is a known problem area. If you have 12v to the plug can you get the lights to come on by wiggling the connector? If so cleaning up that area with a pencil eraser sometimes helps.

The connection between the bulb holders and the printed circuit sometimes responds to a pencil eraser as well.

When you turn the lights on to the parking position I assume you are not getting any bulbs to light on the driver's rear? Is the parking light on the driver's front lighting? They are both on fuse 15 in your 1990 240

When you say Tailights, do you mean the driving lights OR both the driving lights and the Brake lights??

If you just wiggle the white connector with the lights ON..do the lights blink on and off?

The RED wire going into that connector is for the running lights. can you check with a volt meter if you have 12 Volts from that red wire to ground? There is a hole in the top of that connector that you can poke a paper clip through to make contact with teh red wire.

Please include the year of the car in your posts.

If this is information in reference to a previous post it would have been a good idea to include this information on the original post (rather than starting a new one) so everyone could see exactly what the problem is and what had been suggested so far.
