ScanTech Lower Control Arms 900 1996

I replaced the OEM lower control arms with ScanTech units from FCP Groton. After 25-30K the rubber in the large bushing is split almost 270 degrees and the small bushing about 45 degrees on both sides. Has anyone replaced the bushings in the Scantech arms with OEM parts? I pitched my originals or I would change the bushings in those. I'm not impressed with the few ScanTech parts I have purchased.

960/90 series parts from ScanTech = RUN!!!! I know, too late now.

It's going to be easier and cheaper for you to buy the VOLVO LCA's from someone like FCP. They are not that much more expensive then the ScanTech crap. I just bought them and they were $129 each vs. $95. I too replaced mine with the Scan Tech, they didn't last long, now I"ll be changing them again with the OE. I wish I knew at the time that the price difference was only $34 per LCA. That's new OE (beefier) arms with new OE bushings (both).

There was a string of posts about a year ago (started by me unfortunately) ripping into the scantech parts for V90/960's.
For these cars they are little more than junk. A waste of time, money and metal.
My advice is ditch them and install volvo parts. I did.

Thanks for the replies. I wish I'd known the OEM units were available at that price. I wouldn't be doing the job again. Thanks again.
