The bottom wire at the distributor is either going to a cylindrical coil on the right side of the firewall (Bosch LH 2.4) or to a square looking coil on the left wheel well (Rex Regina).

I replaced a down pipe or header pipeon a 240 a few months ago. Use lots of PB blaster over a week or two. I shocked the three nuts on the stud with a hot engine followed by a shot from an upside down can of dust off. It still reeked of breaking. If you break the stud you will have to remove the exhaust manifold and that can lead to more broken suds in the head.

Regina does not use a 'conventional' coil off the passenger side firewall. They use a different device that mounts to the driver's side tower. It should be easy to recogize, as each has a 'coil wire' that connects to the distributor.
