Hey all,
I've got a 1966 122. The brake master cylinder appears to be leaking a lot of fluid. If the rubber cover is soaked and leaking fluid might this ultimately be a seal problem? If so can i replace the seal or should i just get a new master cylinder.

...the answer is yes to both...it's a judgement call...if the dust boot is wet with fluid, the seal is unquestionably leaking and at the very least needs replacement...if you are confident and capable, you can do this your yourself...kits are available...if not, replacement of the MC is about your only other option...
