Check engine light - Mass Air Flow Sensor - 1993 960 900

My check engine light came on yesterday, so I got the information on how to read the codes. Read the code 121, according to my chart it means the Mass Air Flow Sensor. No other codes, cleared the codes. It reappeared right away, same code.
Should I check anything else? or just go get a new one?
Where is the best place to buy one? Does anyone out there have one sitting in their garage?
Thanks for the help!

    Caution 900

It might be a good idea to see if you can find a contact so you can swap a known working one in and see what changes. What other symptoms are you experincing? These are very expensive, approx $500. for a dealer unit, so it is wise to be sure. See my earlier posts re the things I ended up checking prior to the eventual replacement of the MAF.

121 codes are usually pretty reliable. I would just put one in and make sure you use a good one like a Bosch not a Programa or Python.
