Urrrgh! Went out to install a new Clarion in my daughters' '93 and the door handle flops like the letter slot cover at the post office. The assembly is not loose in the door ... done that before ... It's as if it is disconnected.
My issue is taking off that door panel to get at the problem. When I've tried it before I never got it completely off. What's the trick on the most forward mount point on the arm rest? How to get it off? thanks guys and Merry Xmas.

    J, as I can attest myself, operating the vehicle without a functioning door handle becomes aggrivating very quickly.

    The trick is that once you remove the screws, the mapholder (if applicable), the speaker, and the lock fob, rotate the armrest 90 degrees. The armrest should then pull straight out.
