is the very different coil the quickest way to distinguish between bosch round one and regina amplifier type?

thr regina lacks and AMM is memory serves? yes?

1993 non turbo, non california car, with B230F

Either the lack of an AMM or the difference in spark coils will tell you which you have. My '93 940 has the Regina (Bendix) system and it has been very reliable.

Yeah,
1. Square coil on driver fender.
2. Skinny Idle air control valve made by VDO (not Bosch).
3. MAP sensor mounted to backside of driver strut brace.
4. Intake air temp sensor where AMM would be.
