intermittant clicking sound from fuse box area 900

anyone have an experience with a clicking from the fuse box area?

I thought it might be the a/c compressor but the belt to the compressor looks to have been removed by the previous owner.

any ideas?

Hi. Your 940 has a relay panel behind the fuse box in the center console. Those clicks you hear are just the relays "kicking in", although they should emit a barely noticeable click, in a quiet environment. The turn signal relay is the one that makes the most noise, with its distinctive click each time the marker lights go on...
